Anybody have any idea what this is? I went to check eggs tonight and found it in the nesting box. My chickens haven’t laid much in quite some time due to an over crowding issue. I finally have that fixed. Never seen anything like this in my couple years of chicken raising. Thanks

Yes. And it's very dangerous. Wash your hands really good. You shouldn't touch them with your bare hands. And disinfect everything it came in contact with.

Get bird antibiotics now!! I treated my whole flock after my alpha Myrtle died from her lash egg ovarian infection.. it's a 50/50 that it's bacterial and not viral but if it's bacterial u will save your flock..

I used amtyl.. I have one chicken that won't ever lay again because she got the ovarian infection that caused lash eggs also but she's healthy and happy..
