Sudden face and comb turn pale

Note: the Orpington has looked like this for a very long time, since around September, and before that was a little pale and whitish. She is fine and has acted fine so I'm pretty sure its okay, just wanted to get some more professional opinions.
If you look at the red she has the purplish spot up by the back of her crown. Its the same as yesterday and it doesn't seem to bother her. We let them all out on free range today since it was another great day. If it is mild frostbite or something i would like to know, but it is getting warmer as the spring rolls in. Thanks

I would check her for lice and mites. If lice and/or mites are left untreated it can result in anemia due to blood loss. If it’s not lice and/or mites, it could be an overload of worms, heat exhaustion, or molting.

I had a broody hen that had a pale comb and it was due to mites and lice. Once treated, her comb was bright red again. Broody hens are more prone to lice and mites because they aren’t dust bathing as much.
How did you treat the mites

She is beginning to open her eyes and I have her out in the yard. But all she does is lay down and absorb the sun as much as you can. But I don't know why she keeps her eyes closed most of the time and how to get rid of the mites
