I found my first egg today!!!!
It wasnt layed in the nest box. I found it randomly lying on the floor. But I do know that my little Domonique girl layed it. SHe has been squatting and singing egg song for a few days, and none of the other chickens have! I am soooo happy and proud of her!

Compared to a store bought... its pretty puny but I hope she'll get better!

YAY! My second pullet out of four started laying today too. A nice, rather large, brown egg. She is an EE hatched in May. her buddy EE lays blue-green eggs. The otehr two- nada... but I'm SO HAPPY!! I know how you feel.

Me too. My first egg came on Thanksgiving! I am so happy they are finally laying, but I don't know which one left it for me. I have an EE that is squatting like crazy, but the egg was light brown...maybe my Turken - she squats too.

I got another blood streaked pullet egg today... but it was the only one in the big coop.

Wish they would all just start laying...and regularly!
