My cream legbar is at the very bottom of the pecking order and the smallest hen of the bunch. 3 days ago we noticed one of her earlobes was swollen with this weird dark spot in the middle. We can’t tell if it’s getting worse, but it’s definitely not getting better.
Is this something to worry about, or will it eventually go away on its own?
my best guess is that it was originally due to an injury but not sure how to treat her since I don’t have access to antibiotics. So far we’ve been applying Curad Bacitracin and a few drops of VetRx. Not sure if either of those is doing anything but it’s all I have.
