So I flushed her eye Monday and have been applying terramycin 3 times a day since then. It's not red anymore and she's much more active and acting normal but the little film or whatever by the corner of her eye is still there. How long do you think i should continue the terramycin? It does look irritated. Have you ever had respiratory illness within your flock?
General care is to flush the eye with saline, remove any debris or pus, then apply an eye ointment like Terramycin in the eye. Do this daily and see if the eye improves.

I don't think it's pus I think it's like the "film" of her eye. Kind of like cats?Flush the eye daily too. You may have to try a wetted qtip to see if you can remove the debris/pus that's in the eye.
Do you mean the third eyelid?I don't think it's pus I think it's like the "film" of her eye. Kind of like cats?
