I havent seen photo, but my hen has a round lump in her cheek...I was told canker and when I looked in her mouth it is like a piece of sponge..so I called vet who gave me 22 days of a medicine for fungus infection...metrodanazole (sp?). After 22 days of a pill in a quart of water a day...the chickens loved to drink it too...there is no change so I will be calling vet Monday...open her mouth and look.
