Little Blue wheaten girl I’m showing on Saturday. She was pretty chill through the whole process, of which I had no clue what I was doing.

I kept her inside last night because she was still damp and it was getting down to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. She’s back to looking pretty again. Her coloration isn’t too even, but im excited to show her.

I think the others I have(4 months old) will be ready by January. I’d like to bring them to those shows. They‘re currently in the process of loosing their baby feathers so they look goofy.

Oh she looks so pretty! Bathing chickens is a challenge and I am always far more exhausted than I anticipate when I am finished. I have a tough time determining the proper look for a female wheaten...they all look really pretty to me haha. She has a great beard and muff, good eye color, leg color, and seems to have good type, so she should do alright! :) Good luck with her! Where is the first show?

Those were my thoughts as well. I can't say I'm an expert on knowing what she should look like, but I'm overall pleased with her traits. Just wish coloring could be a bit more even, but I guess that's just something I'll have to select towards. I'm attending the Central Florida Poultry Breeder's show, soo.. Fanning Springs. Thank you! I'm hoping everything goes well.

Super pretty! They look just like my 2 splash girls
