The Moonshiner's Bootleg Incubator Reviews And Discussions

Pics
The Muscovy eggs are from my own birds, but the Chantecler eggs were bought at an in-person auction (local eggs) and I had to drive them home. Very poor results from those eggs, only 5 had any development, and only 3 made it to lock down.
Hopefully the 3 hatch! My experience with malpositions pipping at the wrong end isn't good, but I have had one or two to hatch just fine. Let us know how it goes!

The wyandotte eggs were my reason for incubation, the Barnevelders were just a 'just because" but I'm not disappointed either way, it's still early.

The wyandotte eggs are large/extra large and the Barnevelder eggs are medium or smaller, so that could be it!
Both breeds were packed well.
Heat production of different breeds can cause some to develop faster than others

Lockdown tonight for some eggs in the big bator that should be good and for the MeeF.
Haven't candled yet. It's much easier after it gets dark outside.

20 days to go for my 5 eggs, all still spring well. One has an extremely large saddled cell that I'm not sure if I can help.
Are you talking about the wyandotte and other eggs you had shipped? You should have much less than 20 days to go. Lol.

I hatch multiple chicks a year just for example I hatched seven this week but the incubator I use is a broody hen
One of the fancy ones with an auto turner and humidity control, etc.?
