Personally I prefer small combs, just for aesthetic reasons.

I like the flopflops, also for aesthetic reasons lol

I LOVE giant combs on birds and can't wait til I live somewhere that doesn't destroy them with frost bite. However I do prefer longer backed birds like our bantam leghorns compared to the UK.

So if I wanted to make buff leghorns, how would the experts go about it? My logic goes to buff orpington x brown leghorn, but i feel thats a terrible idea

Thats how they started with the Isabella leghorns (but with Lavender Orps). I don't know if the heartiness issues came from the lavender coloring or the orps they used.

Im thinking it was both causing the health issues. I know a lot of peoe seem to have problems with Isabella orps and leghorns and the labender orps.

I didn't even know bantam leghorn existed until today.

But... bantam everything exists! Sicilian Buttercups hardly exist except in bantam form!
