Finally got my refund for Iggy….yeah. He’s so flighty, it’s unreal. You look at him wrong and he’s taking off in the other direction. My white leghorn hens were never that flighty when they were his age. View attachment 2894646

Yep! I got really lucky with them, at least. Only ordered 3 and got 2 pullets out of it. Here’s the mille fleur cockerel, Bojingles.

I know there are rose comb White Leghorns.

I'd love to have some rose comb leghorns myself!

You are living my dream! I loved Leghorns, but with my climate it got expensive to keep their crowns warm. I played around with the varieties too and came up with a decent Buff Columbian. I miss my leghorns

One of the reasons I chose a breed with a rose comb is because of our cold climate. A leghorn with a rose comb would work perfect here!

I have 3 types of leghorn. 2 single comb colors and a rise comb. The rose comb is by far the biggesr

I prefer the term predator savvy over flighty.
