We had wild weather here over night on Monday. Lightening strikes hit a power line and maybe three buildings. Power to my building went out and knocked out networking for some time.

Davis had 4 inches of rain in a couple of hours-- something like 180% of October's average rainfall.

Things are pretty much back to normal today, which is good since it is the first day of the Fall Quarter.

It can take three days of testing to get the positive for covid.

Here on campus, if you have covid symptoms, you have to stay home regardless of the test.

It is nice today! We go back up into the 90s for later this week and next week.

I braved Wal-Mart this morning. I am a survivor!
It was pretty sparsely populated today. The lights were very dim in the store too, in fact, it looked like they only turned on half of them. The dairy section was not stocked well at all. I'm glad we have home grown eggs.
