Thus far I've resisted. Our local feedstore has had them weekly (and sold out in a day) for the last month. My incubators are hidden away even though I'm getting hatching requests. Chick fever in remission? I hope so. There's enough on my plate already.

Well good Morning I put 9 eggs in the incubator.
Still bought 5 peeps at the feed store.
Candled eggs last night all nine show growth.
Even half the hatch being cockerel, I will have lots of pullets too.

Good evening Old Folks. This time next weekend there will be a whole lot of cheeping going on. Incubator #1 will be finished with its batch. A week later Incubators 2&3 will both be hatching. Hopefully I'll get more Dark Cornish pullets and more White American Bresse pullets with a few red sex link pullets for my own use.

I just candled all of the eggs. From what I'm seeing I need to build some more coops. I may have as many as 40 American Bresse hatch and the same with Dark Cornish. I may also get my 6-8 red sex link pullets I want.

Insomnia bug has struck again. To many aches and pains to get comfortable. Can't take anything more to help me sleep safely so I will not do it.
