the sultan thread

Can any one please tell me if I have two males or only one? I know one againist the back wall is a rooster but trying to found out if the second one is too?

Thanks

I'm no expert, but the Roos have longer, spikier feathers on their heads, while the ladies' look more like little puff balls. I'm guessing that's a cockerel:) handsome boy!

Azoh, I'd say Roo. Sultan Roo's tend to have patchy feathering when young. He seems to show this still on his breast.. Were his feathers patchier, showing bald spots when he was even younger?

So my kids come home from biking with their dad, and all of a sudden I hear screeching sounds. I was just about to get up and run outside to see what's up with the chickens. My daughter comes running in with one of our little sultans. The poor thing had been pecked so bad on its neck that you could almost see muscle. We gave it an epson salt bath and dried it off. Then put some ointment on it. Now it's in our art room in a container with a heat lamp and some water and a little food. Poor little sweetie.
