My ducks recently decided they like the fruits of the wild scarlet-fruit passion flower vine that volunteers freely here in my South Florida yard. Thank you so much for all the information! It is fantastic how you itemized everything! From what I was reading...ducks eat how humans should! Didn't know about the dog food...interesting. I was thinking about adding kale to my diet and now I have ducks to share it with!

Hi, Thanks for the list, great ideas. But I was wondering about the avocado stuff. My duck pen is near a huge tree, can the water run off from it hurt them, do you know?

Yesterday I made a few icecakes for my ducks: chopped watermelon rind (with the outer dark green shaved off and discarded) pressed into yogurt cups and into the freezer. After frozen the "melonrind-icecakes" come out easily, and my ducks love to pick it. I can hear they chew on the icy bits.
