This is about my black Australorp, Marsala. When he was 1 week old he started putting his head between his legs and running backwards. I was dumbfounded. My husband and son wanted to cull him, but I protested. I posted it on BYC and I had many amazing people help me nurse him back to health. After he was cured, I noticed he had a white spot on his eye, once again the peeps on BYC came to his rescue!!
Today, Marsala is a healthy 4 month ago cockerel, and today my daughter put him in the 4H county fair. He won best standard! He went from sickly chick to a beautiful winner! I have to thank all of my flock on BYC because you all helped him get here! :ya

Wow, horses! That's pretty neat.
Chickens might be easier?? Its awesome she's already excited.
The horse groups out here are very competitive, but it within the actual groups. Parents, their kids it got horrible and unenjoyable for my kids who well weren't that competitive. Yes I'm so hoping chickens are easier, no truck and trailer needed that's a huge plus already lol. She loves animals and especially her chickens!
