I would never feed my animals moldy food. A: that's gross. 2: I eat their eggs and I don't want them to eat moldy food then lay me an egg. And D: that's gross x2

I don't like to see wrong information about what is safe vs. dangerous for chickens to eat, but I've got no problem with people choosing to avoid things that they just don't want to eat (or let their chickens eat.)

As a picky eater myself, I figure as long as everyone ends up healthy and happy, it's not a big deal either way.

I once ate moldy Fig Newtons. I had done a favor for an elderly couple, and they insisted I have coffee and cookies with them. I didn't want to embarrass them and their faulty vision so I ate a couple Fig Newtons. They tasted bad, but did not hurt me.
