Three week old Silkie question

How can you tell if a three-week old non-bearded Silkie is a pullet or cockerel??

Three weeks old might be a little too young but you might enjoy this thread.

Silkies are very difficult to sex until they lay or crow sometimes. I have been fooled before.

Oh, and when do silkies lay? Is it bad for them to hatch their first few eggs? This is my first time with silkies, sorry so many questions.

Silkies can lay at 6-8 months (yes they are slow!). I have read that it is best for a pullet not to hatch out her first eggs- to wait until a bit older. But I haven't done it and can't say from experience. I have only bought eggs for hatching LOL.
