I would recommend Orpingtons, Plymouth rocks, Plymouth Rock cross, welsummer and Wyandottes
Easter egger and olive egger (Prairie Bluebell Egger and Starlight Green Egger) are also a good choice
I wouldn’t suggest amber link and black sexlink there friendly and do well in cold climates but they have health issues because they lay so much
I also wouldn’t suggest Brahma or marans (unless the marans are clean legged) because birds with feathered feet don’t do well in cold and wet climates
Also Rhode Island reds are aggressive so if you have more submissive breeds I wouldn’t suggest them
And I don’t know anything about Rhode Island blues
