Here is my staight answer. Yes my chickens have been eatting them for years without any complications. My ducks love them too.

my girls LOVE tomatoes(so far no ill effects)......so ones that get soft in the fridge are now a treat for the clan.

Tomato fruits are fine, tomato leaves are supposedly toxic or at least not very good for them.
