Thought I had this all figured out. After reading about the different breeds I had pretty much decided that these were either production red or red sex link. Today, however I was again looking at the RIR, NHR, RSL, and PR's breeds and there are pictures in all 4 breeds that look an awful lot like these birds. Can anyone help me identify these chickens, any guesses on gender would be great as well. They are about 9 weeks old now.The smaller two are supposed to be RIR or NHR pullets. They are about 5 weeks old. The one has black in her tail, the other has white tips on her tail, they are both a dark red color. Would appreciate if anyone could identify them as well.
