Tonight I went to check all the poultry and found that my two little blue slates think that the chicken barn roof is a roosting place.
I felt the need to chase them off but had to use the garden hose.
My question is can this behavior be stopped/broken or am I just making a big deal out of nothing?
I do have local friends that say they lose guineas to owls regularly. I have not seen owls here but we also don't have any trees until you get to the back of the property near the pond.
I would take any suggestions. This is my first set of turkeys and they free range all day with my chickens and soon to be guineas.
