How did the eagles get electrocuted when other birds sit on them fine?

I'm not certain, but it was mentioned that the lines were parallel. Maybe since eagles are so large they managed to touch both in the fight, while touching each other.
I've never seen them, sitting on power lines.
One commenter said that they didn't need to actually touch each line, just be close, to be electrocuted.
