Uptick of unanswered Emergency posts

Hey all! I just wanted to see if anyone else has noticed this lately. I've seen a lot of emergency posts (for injured or dying birds) go unanswered lately. That or someone does answer them, but days or weeks later.

Usually responses are pretty quick, so I'm not sure if it's a problem with the site, or the posts getting buried.

I have seen them but I am not an expert in this area so I feel horrible answering when I can’t help.

I think the main thing is that a lot of people are just labeling it with emojis, punctuation or "Pls help's, which doesn't give any hint as to if it's pasty butt or a animal attack or an actual illness

Good idea, it would not be good if you accidentally gave bad advice. Thats one reason why I generally don't reply to emergencies
