Hello! A little over a week ago (I'm not 100% sure if it was just a week it may have been 1-2) my white silkie hen, started sitting on one egg. I usually leave the eggs there if they're sitting on them just in case something ever happens with it. I left it for about a week and I checked it a few days ago again with a flashlight. It is somewhat dark and whenever I turned it something floated up to the top which I think is the baby chick. I've never hatched eggs before. I tried once with an incubator but the eggs turned out to not be fertilized, and therefore didn't work.
Anyway, I think this egg is fertilized and I am continuing to leave it under my hen so it will grow and hopefully hatch. I checked it again today and decided to take some photos and a video of me turning it over the flashlight. Please respond if you think the egg is looking ok for one to two weeks old, or if it's not looking ok. Or any thoughts you may have, really. Even good ones. Thanks so much!

I have attached images this post and here is the link to the video of the egg:
As you may see in the video too there are red veins in the egg and different light and dark parts. The air cell is also quite large-ish.

Thank you for replying. We now have an adorable, healthy baby.
It hatched exactly 2 weeks after I posted this.
I've attached photos. ❤
