using a dickey hatcher as an incubator? anyone?

My 'bator is technically a hatcher, at least it is set up like one. My hubby was going to put auto turners in it like the dickey and sportman have, but decided to try a hovabator turner and see if it would work, b/c the parts for the other one were outrageous. He bought on and had to cut off one row. Not idea, but it will get me buy until I save the money up for my new Dickey, then I will use mine as a hatcher and have a backup turner in case I ever need it.

alaskan hen house- do you know the dimensions of the hatcher trays?

he said they were 14x23 but i haven't heard back about the heights between the trays. so that they don't hit the tray above. I'm wondering if he sold it to someone else now.
