Variations from 2nd generation crossbreed

I hatched 16 yesterday that are almost all Rainbow 75s.
This variation produced 50% white birds.

I have an example of this line in the 3 week and 7 week old birds.
She is much bigger than her brothers and sisters.
The red pigment of the Dixie Rainbows is finally overpowering the Black of the Barred Rock but some birds retain barring.

This bronze girl of seven weeks looks like a clone of a 10 week old bird.

Blackfoot is very loving with young birds of all ages.

I had 9 white roos.
I have chosen the Wingman to become the sire of my Florida crossbreed project.
He's going to be the biggest. Some of them look sweet but he has a fierce look.
He's very shy. I'm slowly winning him over.
We're going to be great friends.

Blackfoot will keep the girls who are breeding true.
Wingman will get the two white hens and possibly the all black hens.
He will also get Jungle Girl.

The Rainbow Rock have turned out fantastic.
More of a platinum tone, than grey.
Weighed a hen yesterday. 8 pounds 3 ounces.

Despite this, I've been so obsessed with The Florida flock that they are all that I am hatching myself. I've bought a Brinsea and am now running two incubators. I have 14 six week old Florida birds that I'm about to group into trios. I have 40 Florida chicks due to hatch over the next week. The Rainbow Rock flock deserves better. They are wonderful birds.
