Does anyone have some good pictures of vent sexing young birds? I've read articles that say to look for a "bump", but they don't say where the bump is. Is it the part that you press on a fully adult male to get foam, or is it something in the cloaca? I want to get better at vent sexing birds at 4-5 weeks. I get so many requests for young hens and I don't want to tell someone "I think this is a hen, but I could be wrong since it's young," and have them get upset when it turns into a roo.

From the vent towards the tail ....

Adults I don't have a problem with. I want to learn how to sex them as chicks. @Myshire Farm Quail mentioned that they sex their quail at 3 weeks, so I want to learn how to do that too.
