What do you do with your cockerals?

I am planning on hatching out some more chicks this spring because I want some olive egger hens. I have no problems with culling cockerals, it just seems like such a waste. I already have 2 roosters, so keeping them isn't an option. Freezer camp is, but since they are Easter Egger x Golden Cuckoo Maran cross chicks they have very little to provide in the way of meat. I thought about skinning the culled roosters and feeding the cooked meat to my dogs.I don't know if there are other options? I just hate the idea of wasted life.

Maybe make stock using the whole carcass? There will be a tiny bit meat, you could make chicken soup or give it to the dogs

My brother in law goes to a local auction every so often, and when I have an extra cockerel, I get him to take it to the auction for me. He gets a portion of the proceeds for taking the bird there, I get the other portion, someone gets themselves a new young rooster, everybody is happy...

I would reccomend sending them to auction, i have gotten pretty good money for mutt cockerels.

Auction sounds great but locally the closest livestock auction is 40 miles away, which I couldn't justify unless I knew I could recover costs. I love the bird, but I gotta worry about tight financials as well. I hadn't thought of making stock but that night be the route we go. My elderly dog needs soft foods, and adding chicken broth would be super good for him. Plus, wirh stock deboning is easier. Thank you all for your ideas!!
