If you search for bumblefoot here on BYC, you will find a lot of threads about treating it. Short answer is, you need to remove the scab and the plug of pus underneath. Pus is a semi-solid, cheesy like substance, not a liquid like for humans. Bumblefoot is a staph infection, usually in a scratch or small cut in the pad of the foot.

Symptoms are limping, or holding up the affected foot. There may be no symptoms, too.

If you are up for it and still have her body, you could look for threads on "bumblefoot surgery" and practice on her foot.
