What is the minimum distance from hens that bachelor flocks need to be?

I hatched out 8 babies and, of course, 5 were boys.

But I love roosters because without hens they are wonderful little pets.

So, how far away from the hens do I need to put my bachelor flock so I don’t have fighting and sneak attacks?

I've never penned them away. Mine can interact through the fence with the rest of the flock. Fighting has to do with the individual roosters personality, and how much room you give them. Some roosters just don't get along.

Roosters that attack humans is a whole nother issue and tends to have to do with over handling young birds, and not reading and understanding body language in chickens.
