Thank you for the response, she has been laying for about a year, but this is the first egg of this kind that she has laid. I feed flock raiser pellets with oyster shells and the occasional kitchen scrap.Looks like an underdeveloped egg to me. How long has she been laying and what do you feed?
Thank you for the response! I will look into the calcium citrate for sure.Looks like one of the weird or odd eggs. Is is a soft shelled egg with a tail. You might want to give some calcium citrate with vitamins d for about 7 days.

As eggcessive said, she could be deficient, or it could just be a random odd egg. Either way there's nothing to worry about!
