The newest Hoop House is now almost complete and should be ready for residents by tomorrow afternoon.

Update:

It is complete now and tomorrow night we move the 8 wk old kids into it. Has to be dark or there is no way to catch them as they are much faster than we are. Once they are out the 3 week old get moved out of the brooder area and into the open part of the brooder house. where they will be under foot. This weekend's hatch will be put into a fresh brooder. When a plan comes together that makes me happy.

Time well spent with a couple of my Delaware girls hanging out with me. They had a little tussle as to who got to perch on the John Deere steering wheel until one took over by shoulder. All is well that ends well.
