Wish mine were. Some have been in pots so long that they have little clusters of Muscadines on them now.

My second broody of the year began hatching chicks yesterday afternoon and finished overnight. 8 chicks, all Easter Eggers and Olive Eggers. I took this photo this morn soon after mama hen brought them out of the nest box. The chicks stood around for a bit before disappearing under their mom for warmth.

I'm just glad that the Delaware pullet that flew up onto my shoulder and tried to eat my hearing aid failed.

Cleaned the carburetor one last time. Got the first pass done of tilling the garden. One more time to go only, in the opposite direction. Unfortunately wiped out a lot of volunteer lettuce.
