What made you happy today?

I got a lot of work done this morning.

The sun is shining and temp is pretty warm for November in Ohio. And my 4 weekers are doing great with no heat lamp

Sitting on the back porch, reading a book. It's 80 degrees here in NC at my FIL's.

I got the new water heater installed a bit ago and just bought a new dryer too.

Now all I have left to fix is the toilet…

Might just be the flapper. Even if it's the whole inside, it's a pretty easy fix. Home Depot etc sells a kit.

Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking too. I haven’t replaced any of the interior valve parts on it in over 10 years since I first moved here so it’s probably time to do again.

And if it doesn’t work then I guess I’ll just have to buy a new one instead…:

Went to a friends sons funeral tonight. I am very happy and blessed that my children and grandchildren are alive and well.

For the little (or not so little) things in life that make you happy. I'll start with two things that made me happy today.

Today, my roommate got slushies delivered and surprised me with a cotton candy slushy.

My new company got our MSA (Master Service Agreement) and SOW (Statement of Work) from our lawyers, so we're all set legally when we sign new clients.

My fist attempt at hatching eggs was with 3 gifted MYSTERY eggs. 1 got half way, 2 hatched, 1 survived. He/she turns 1 month today!!! Pretty sure it is a silkie or a silkie mix! I got them some welsummer siblings at the local farm & feed store so they would not be lonely. I don't know anything about silkies! Can you sex them at 1 month? Has no tail to speak of.
