What made you happy today?

I was happy seeing our resident California quail having breakfast with the flock. So darn cute!

Getting a lot of wood split and stacked. Some for next year, most for this year.

One of the benefits of splitting day is the big pile that ends up of the front porch. All of the "does not stack well with others" is in totes and the cart and the sled near the front door. I won't have to go out to the wood pile for a few days.

Having a good wood pile is a great feeling!

Yeah, a bit. It's nice that they aren't laughing stocks this year. Hubby is happier.

Someone I care very much about has stopped using marijuana after being on it for about four years. She started using it on the advice of a therapist. I'm VERY happy for her.
