Someone told me about an immigrant who was visiting a farm and one of the farm's geese was by the gate and hissed at him. He didn't know the word for goose, so he said, "I do not like the cobra chicken." I thought that was a great description of a goose, and I've called them cobra chickens ever since.

When I lived in SC I recall the intense rivalry between USC and Clemson. I would see bumper stickers that said "I root for whoever is playing Clemson"

Stockton University - small NJ school. He plays infield and pitches. Right now he is playing third base. He is an average pitcher, average hitter (makes this HR even more special) and an outstanding ball handler making incredible plays. True athleticism that comes from none of my DNA.

Finally a warm sunny day no snow no freezing wind. Just a glorious day

Besides the total solar eclipse, which was awesome, I was able to start water glassing eggs again today! Feels good to get some put away
