What would you do in this situation? (Canker in new chicken)

Okay, I am kind of worried that my others might have it... I've been checking their mouths and I can see tiny little brownish parts in one of their throats... I can't tell if it's just food or if it's canker, so I'll check again tomorrow and see if it's still there in the same place. No obvious smell yet. How long does canker take to progress?? The last time they would have been able to get it is 2 weeks ago.

Would this be okay to use?? https://www.intralabs.co.uk/copper-sulphate/500g-copper-sulphate.html

It says "Animal feed grade" but then says "harmful if swallowed" and it doesn't say anything about being acidic... I don't want to order the wrong thing and I definitely do not want my whole flock to die :(

Can you use pigeon canker treatment on chickens?? I can get that fairly easily here

edit: it also says it's Pentahydrate but is that not toxic??
edit 2: what about this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/295526001264

I believe that you can make acified copper sulfate by adding citric acid, a mild acid used in making foods, to the copper sulfate. Vinegar can also be used. The 4in 1 is ronadazine, and is another treatment for canker in birds, so okay to use. If you look at the back label on this product it is copper penhydrate 90% and citric acid.

Dosage of acidified copper sulfate is 1/4 tsp per gallon (4 liters) of water for 3 days a month for prevention of canker.

Can this be followed to ensure that healthy chickens don't get it?

You do NOT want to give healthy birds Acidified Copper Sulfate nor any homemade products resembling ACS nor Ronidazole.
These products are specifically used to treat birds with canker. They wipe out good and bad bacteria as well as the canker protozoa.
These products can weaken the immune system and after actual treatment is completed for canker, it is highly recommended that heavy doses of probiotics are given to treated birds.

I'm dealing with a health issue and can't check all of my flock right now. I just lost one to what looked like canker yesterday (I had no idea she had it) Can ACS be given as a preventative then followed up with probiotics?

I had two 4 months old chicks showing symptoms of canker, I isolated them after noticing. However, other chickens started to develop it in their mouth as well after a few days. I followed this guide: https://www.pets4homes.co.uk/pet-advice/how-to-treat-canker-in-poultry.html

It worked and canker didn't come back again. I installed some horizontal chicken nipple drinkers and a bucket (with holes) for their feed consumption to eliminate some potential vectors of this happening again, it also made my life a lot easier!
