Whatcha Making for Supper?

Two of our grocery stores put racks of ribeyes on sale for $6.99/lb. or $5.99/lb. near Thanksgiving and Christmas. and I buy the whole rack and have it cut into individual steaks between 1 1/2 to 2 inches per steak.

I have a seal-a-meal and my steaks stay good in the freezer.

I have eaten them when they were 3 years old and they tasted like I had just bought them.

Yes I bought a rack as well but cooked and ate it for Christmas dinner! I forgot that I have a vacuum sealer. Rib steak would be perfect for that.

I bought a Costco roasted chicken yesterday so leftovers of that with salad and veg of some kind.

I'll buy a smaller piece to cook for Prime Rib

Nice to have available when I have a yearning for a steak.
