That sounds like a Cornish Cross. If it is,it could be problematic. Myself and others do get them to breeding age but it takes serious feed management,otherwise they eat till they can't walk

One of the guys on another thread has got them up to the 18 pound range. These ARE NOT your LF Cornish. They are broilers super fast growing that will eat 24-7 if you let them

I use a slow grow cornish cross in my mad experiments.Ive gotten some impressive birds.

Some of the others are smaller but with the same characteristics.

That's a better angle. He doesn't look like a Cx in this picture. Looks like a well set up bird.
