Yea, it would work. But they seem to grow back so fast. They're 18 days old today exactly and the 1st one just flew out of the crate. He was so proud

My turkeys have their wings clipped and i have a fence that is around 5' high. They don't even try to fly out. I do pen them up in a coop at night so other animals won't eat them. I have found that they need alot of room to run around and they love to eat lightning bugs
