Whose got what laying?

THis is my first year for blue eareds. DO they lay on the ground or do I need to make an elevated nesting area for them? All i have laying right now is red goldens as it is has been cold. 50s in the day 30s at night

Blue eareds dig a deep hole and lay their eggs in it.Sometimes they cover them over and you wouldn't even know they are there.

Some hens will set,some won't.I wouldn't let the eggs sit for more then 15 days,after 15 days the viablity drops.
