Why are my ducks terrified of yellow

Doesn’t really bother me, but my ducks are terrified of yellow. I was trying to feed them corn like corn on the cob and they ran to the other side of the pen and we’re shivering. They were so scared. does anybody know why?

In general ducks are terrified of anything new especially if its big. My geese actually hate the color yellow and get mad at me when I wear it. Then again, they hate it when I wear anything new that they have not seen before. silly birds!
