Will there always be Coturnix quails available?

Since Coturnix quail only live for an average of 2 years, will they always be easy to acquire in the future? Will there always be breeders who ship fertile eggs?

Since they have been being bred for over 4,000 years, we could assume they will always be around. No way to know if there will always be a source, but it seems very likely that there will always be.

There are a lot of people breeding them. They are experiencing a popularity boom it seems, but I don't see them going away. People have been breeding them for a very long time.

I borrowed an incubator and ordered eggs off eBay, there has never been a better time to experiment with quail (they are addicting!), even if you live at the backend of forever like us!

TBH... I noticed a lot of the sources that I have gone through closed or stopped selling jumbo whites.
Seems like these last 4 years white jumbo quail are becoming elusive and a niche' specialty breed.
People have been taking them off the sites and or making them more expensive, making it difficult to acquire them through ordering by phone or in person only...
more expensive again...
Especially the ones that breed out at 16ounces @ 10 weeks...
My last source had passed away GBHS
