Three years ago, we watched Mrs. AK-BirdBrain build her Alaskan Breeder Coop. I remember being SO JEALOUS of her 12x20 coop!!
I've finally, after 3 years of whining and pinning, have convinced my hubby that I needed one, too.
So, we've "broke ground" so to speak on an "Ohioan Breeder Coop"
We started on Monday (do not mind the mess in the back ground please!)
We blocked it up, and laid the sheeting on it yesterday. Today, we built all the exterior walls and framed in the windows and spot for the door. We also screwed the windows in.
This is how it looked when we quit for today. I need to get more paint to finish painting the floor. The paint is a temporary protectant from the elements, until I get linoleum to put down. Hope we get to put the trusses up soon!
