I've never had GLW, only a SLW. Is it normal for a GLW to have black and white feathering as in the first photo? Just curious.

Hmm, I'm not sure, I don't see it a whole lot though. It'll probably go away as she feathers in more I think.

My first thought was she is mixed but then not owning one I wasn't sure if this was normal.

She looks pure to me, I do think it's normal and will go away at some point.

I got them from tractor supply and it said Wyandotte assorted I was hoping to get all glw and a rooster haha.

Oooh nice. Sorry I can't answer your question but I have a few Silver laced chicks at the moment. Let me know how yours get on. They're a great breed!
