Your 2024 Garden

Grind them as fine as you can.
I have a spice grinder I will use
I'm going to use Tomato Tone on my 'maters and peppers this year. It's organic, made by Espoma. I've used their Tree Tone on my fruit trees, and I think it has made a HUGE difference to my cherry trees. Their soil acidifier has made a HUGE difference to my blueberries too.

Anybody else use that stuff? I plan to sprinkle a bit around each plant when I put them in the ground.
I'll look into this, thanks!
I've used a coffee grinder to powder both eggshells and oyster shell granules.
Yup, plan on using my coffee/spice grinder

Thankfully the rain did not beat up the garden too bad. I did have to wrap some bean vines back on the trellis.

Tomatoes are starting to get tall so I pushed some vines into the weaving.

I noticed something ate the top of a few zinnia seedlings. I suspect an insect.

My feral cats have been walking on my raised bed gardens even though I have covered them with bird netting (they can't dig in the newly-planted beds). I have ordered some more plastic chicken fencing to put an end to that nonsense.

No mice, no moles, no shrews, and the squirrels are avoiding my yard, so I can deal with the cats. As my flock, the cats greet me every morning as the Giver of Food!
;)
