- we have no daytime predators nearby. the cats we have are chicken friendly and chase off all the other birds. there are also Big dogs over the back fence that discorage other thing from coming too close.
They are locked away securly if we go out or we are away though. we had the chicks outside from 6 weeks old and have lost one to a prdator in the 2 years we been living here.
