I have one lovely Orpington Rooster about 2 years old. I just got two hens for him. They are around two years of age too. He really favors one hen. Sometime excluding the second hen. I wondered if two hens were enough or should I get another hen? The chickens are just pets

Please check any warming bulbs that you are using in your coop! we lost 16 adult birds within a few minutes - the cause, Teflon coated warming bulb. The packaging never said that there was a coating on the bulbs. If you have any doubt do not use any coated bulbs anywhere near your flock.
