Do you see what I’m seeing?
looking at the buffs- I think the one in the front is a hen and the two further back are roosters.
Agree? I bought them April 18 so they are around 6 weeks old.
Sorry these aren’t the best photos.
Title pretty much says it all! Can someone help me determine if this is a hen or a roo. Bought from rural king and supposed to be all pullets. However they’re all the same age and she’s the only one with a bright red comb. She’s got major attitude, puffy cheeks. I’m a first time chicken owner so...
I have a 11 week old red breasted old English game bantam I posted on Facebook and was wondering if anybody could help me decipher the gender of this chicken
6 weeks hen or roo. this is turtle a six week old Barnevelder chick i am not sure why he has got no lacing he came from a silver laced barnevelder hen and splash barnevelder roo. turtle has siblings 1 week younger i will show images of them if you want but i just need too know their gender...
I have two 8 week old Black australorps. They came from the same batch, but combs are throwing me off. They look so different. Not the best pics. Also the one in the back gives me vulture vibes.
This is mostly just for fun. 😉
They are only 5 1/2 weeks
and 3 1/2 weeks
The first two pics are of the 5 week olds. One is a crossbeak and is probly why she is smaller.
The 3rd pic is the 3 week old which I'm sure will be super hard to guess what it will be.
I'm gonna be doing gender testing so...
These two are, I think, between 2-3 weeks old. We have never had chickens before and took them on because a friend got them for his broody hen, who rejected them. He has no idea what breed they are, but he seemed sure they are both hens. After much googling, Crested Cream Legbar seems the...
Hi guys, looking for opinions!
I have a 2 month old Mille Fleur D’Uccle that I am having a hard time sexing so far. I can see the dark red comb, but he/she has no wattles.
If anyone knows more about this breed and can help me figure it out, that would be great! 🥰
Hi,
I have an 11 week old chicken that I am not sure if it is a hen or roo. Can anyone tell me? Please meet "Sam." I am not sure of the breed either.
Thank you so much!
This is Penelope Featherington and my kids are super worried about her giant tail! This is our first time with chicks and our other two are a blue sexlink and a black australorp so we don't have other orpingtons to compare to side by side. What do you guys think? Too early to tell? Hen? Roo?
I feel like losing trust in the breeder I purchased from. I live in a suburban type neighborhood with no roosters allowed and worked with this breeder with an auto-sexing breed but have discovered one is a rooster. Please tell me these speckled Sussex are not roosters too 😭 the two of them...

Hello, I am new to the chicken world and have recently purchased 18 pullets or what was supposed to be. :) This is Marge, my beautiful 11 week old Light Brahma who up until recently, I thought was a she. He/She does not have long stringy or triangular neck feathers, but instead look more...
hello! I have been trying to figure out who’s who in my Turken flock. Can y’all please help me with who’s a hen and who’s a roo? They are about 17 weeks old.
We are trying to decide if any of these are pullets or cockrels. We are down to our last hen and looking to adopt two other birds to keep her company. We are not sure of these birds breeds. The guesses are seabright and maybe Brahma? Does anyone have any inclinings as to if any of these might be...
Two week old supposedly female Wyandotte chick it gives me the stink eye and it barely has wings and tale compared to its sister. It’s also really protective
