Hello all,
I just joined as I'm the proud owner 4 new baby chicks. I've always wanted chickens but living in a tiny county like Holland, never had the garden space before to get them.
The chicks are (almost) 3 weeks old and are called Doris, Dottie, Eleanor and Edith, though we suspect Dottie might be a rooster
They are Amrock, Barnevelder, New Hampshire red and Rhode Island breeds. I was expecting the RIR to be the boss but the Amrock is a total menance and steals every single treat before the others even realize what is going on. I can't wait to see what kind of characters they develop into. They are already so entertaining to watch and I'm longing for the day they get to be outside with us all the time.
(ps. Didn't answer all the questions as I'm not very talkative, but I'm super happy to be here!)
